An independent review site for the grooming, comfort, and care side of cat ownership, built for owners who want real information before they spend real money.
Three Kitty started because the everyday care products that shape a cat's wellbeing, the brushes, nail tools, calming aids, dental care, carriers, and beds, are strangely hard to shop for. Amazon has thousands of options in every category, reviews are mixed, and sponsored "top picks" lists often reflect ad budgets rather than what actually works.
We wanted a site that does the research honestly: compare products on the features that genuinely matter, surface the real pros and cons, and help cat owners make confident decisions without spending hours reading review after review.
The name comes from exactly what you would expect, three cats with three very different personalities and grooming needs, and an ongoing real-world testing lab for everything we cover.
Every buyer's guide on Three Kitty follows the same process:
Before looking at individual products, we map the category: what features buyers actually care about, what price points exist, what the common failure modes are, and what a genuinely good product in the category looks like versus a mediocre one.
We only feature products with confirmed Amazon listings. Every product link on this site points to a real Amazon listing that we checked, and we do not fabricate product data or invent listings. When we cannot verify a specific listing, we link to a relevant Amazon search instead.
We look at volume, recency, and patterns in verified purchase reviews. A product with 4.4 stars across 3,000 reviews tells a different story than a 4.8-star product with 12 reviews. We weight for volume and flag review anomalies.
Every product card includes genuine pros and cons. If a product has a common complaint in reviews, like a grinder that is too loud for nervous cats or a self-warming bed that does little in a cold room, we include it, even when we still recommend the product overall.
Product availability and quality change. We review and update each guide at least once per year, removing discontinued products and adding new launches that clear our threshold.
Three Kitty covers products, not medicine. Our guides on calming aids and dental care describe over-the-counter products that support your cat's wellbeing, but they are not a substitute for professional veterinary advice. Calming supplements are not medication, dental products do not replace professional cleanings, and sudden changes in your cat's behavior or health always warrant a call to your vet.
